General Appearance: Lyra is quite petite in both height and figure, with ivory skin and startling blue eyes. She's never seen without a smile and seems to manage to keep her figure without really trying. She has long light blond hair which frames her features.

Her face is often 'hidden' because if she doesn't know the person she keeps her gaze down due to her shyness..

Mentality

Strengths: Lyra is rather musical and has a way with animals, when she was in school she preferred classes like CoMC and Herbology where little to no wand work is invloved. Like animals, Lyra seems to have a way with people so much so that they normally find they can trust her with nearly anything.
It takes a lot to annoy Lyra but when you get on her last nerve, she will make your life a living hell. Though it takes a lot to get her to open up, Lyra is fiercely loyal to her friends and if you gain her friendship it goes in your favour greatly.
Weaknesses: She isn't very good at using a wand, her talent is merely adequate. Lyra also has a tendency to lose complete track of time when she's around animals, plants or anything to do with nature as a whole. She also gets distracted easily; especially when she's reading, finding that she has to do reading in small doses or else it just doesn't register. When her temper flares she has no filter. She struggles to speak in front of a crowd which hinders her a little in some situations. She's not too fond of heights or small spaces. She also can get spooked quite easily. Lyra is also quite clumsy, much to the amusement of her loved ones

Hobbies And Interests: Lyra loves anything to do with animals, spending most of her free time around them and looking after those that need it; even sneaking injured animals into her flat, much to the dismay of her landlord. She also loves music and to sing but never does in front of others. Lyra is interested in the arts, favouring costume and background design; something she always helps out with when she's not busy and there's something where those skills are needed.

Biography

History: Lyra had a relaxed childhood when she was younger, she always had a close bond with her mother and father, being a first born and finding it hard to conceive they treasured her dearly. Her parents always made sure she wanted for nothing, but taught to appreciate what she got, considering her family were not the richest.

Growing up, her parents ran their own veterinary clinic and she used to often help out with the general feeding and care of animals, often sitting in whilst her mother did checks over each animal; it was this that flared Lyra's adoration for the care and well being of animals which has become her favourite past time. 

When Lyra was nine, her mother fell pregnant with what was soon to be her younger sister, unfortunately at this time though her father was drafted away to fight with the muggle army so the time with her father greatly deteriorated, seeing only every few years - if she's lucky.

Lyra had no clue that she was a witch until she received a letter and a visit inviting her to Hogwarts, it took her family a while to come terms with what she was but as it is her younger sister is now showing signs of magic, much to the dismay of her parents.
