General Appearance:-Some people say that looks don't matter, those are the ugly people that spew that nonsense. Lucian is a handsome gentleman who takes his appearance seriously; wether he is sporting a normal suit, robes, or casual wear, he strives to look his best in them. He recently discovered that a five o'clock shadow enhanced his appearance even more, along side his flecks of black and gray scattered throughout his hair and beard stubble. His hair is kept short with a front style, sometimes it is longer and just styled to the side. He is physically fit, muscles on muscles and his wide dominant jaw line just accents it all.

Biography

History:
Born into the pure line of Kirkpatrick by Harlon and Selena; Lucian was the first of three children, followed by his sister Gwen, and brother Zachary. Luc was always treated slightly different than his siblings, even though he was only a few years older than them, it was expected of him to carry on the Kirkpatrick line and at a young age he was arranged to marry Satine Declan, a witch from the pure Declan line out of Australia.

By his eleventh birthday, Lucian was already cynical. He thought that he knew everything he needed to know about magic and Hogwarts from watching his parents while he was a child, once he entered the doors, was sorted into Slytherin, he realized he didn't know much of anything.

Dark Arts mesmerized him, he devoted hours upon hours on learning how the magic worked, how it manipulated its targets, but he also knew that it was dangerous learning this skill set, so he focused on learning it, and Defense. He decided early in his school years that he wanted to become a teacher and pass on the knowledge that he knew.

His sister came soon after Lucian had become comfortable in school, he took it upon himself to protect his little sister. He wanted to ensure that she would be safe, which is why he was happy that she found Lucas North, a Gryffindor. Lucian wasn't keen on the bloke at first, being a lion and all, but he realized that Lucas was an okay guy, and soon found himself not needing to look after Gwen as often.

Zachary was more than capable of caring for himself, he never had to worry about his brother.

Lucian started hanging out more with the "bad" kids. The ones that secretly practiced dark magic in the midnight hours of the common room on rats and other small mammals they found outside. Lucian felt the pull to the dark even more so than his parents had known; Lucian was maiming and killing these poor animals in his fourth and fifth years. Lucian knew that he wanted to do more, he had heard about the muggleborn hate, the oppression that the pure lines wanted to place on them; he agreed.

In 1990, Lucian graduated, despite his growing agitation at anyone less than half blood, he passed his transfiguration exams with flying colors and moved on to other private institutions to grow more skillful in the art. That wasn't it. He married the Pureblood Declan girl, even though he wasn't entirely fond of her, but he knew it was his job. Rumors of the rise of Voldemort were rampant once more, whispers mostly, but Lucian worked with the other Death Eaters to follow these rumors, voice the whispers and silence the naysayers. Lord Voldemort would return.

And return he did. In 1994 Lucian witnessed the rebirth of the dark lord, like a black Phoenix he rose from the ancient magic and battled the Boy Who Lived. After the fight, Voldemort awarded all of his followers that believed, and he allowed new members to join his ranks, but Lucian was smart, he joined as the last one. He only person who knew or knows that he was a Death Eater, was Lord Voldemort.

The years passed and his marriage grew unsteady, his wife not thrilled about his lack of a steady job. His constant traveling and his violent tendency. But Lucian was a good husband, he never was violent to her, he grew to love the woman. After he participated in the battle of Hogwarts, his identity kept secret by a simple face transfiguration and his skull mask, Lucian and his wife left England. Voldemort was dead, it was not safe for any member of the death eaters to live within the borders. They fled to America.

Lucian acquired his first teaching job at Ilvermorny in 2001 taking over the DADA post, in the same year his twins were born, expanding the pure Kirkpatrick line by two more members. He did not want his children raised in America, so he sent his wife and twins back to England while he remained to teach. His wife was not pleased and the separation between the two started then. But they remained married.

Until early 2016. His wife officially filed for divorce and he agreed on the condition that he gained full custody of his children. She agreed and left England for good. Lucian took this time to apply for the Defense Against the Dark Arts post at Hogwarts.

Family History:The Kirkpatricks are a noble line of Purebloods dating back centuries, Lucian was born to Harlon (born in 1949) and Selena who also came from a Pureblood line (born in 1952). Their marriage was a traditional one in the sense of two Pureblood families, they were arranged to marry one another, usually from the moment they are born.

The Kirkpatricks were firm supporters of the dark arts, following Voldemort until the very end. Harlon and Selena had three children; Lucian (b. 1972), Gwen (b. 1974) and Zachary (b. 1979). Lucian was the only one to actively join Voldemort as a Death Eater.

Lucian married Satine Declan in 1990 by arrangement, sired twins Julian and Ava in 2001. He and his wife divorced in 2016.

Gwen met Lucas North, a Pureblood, in school and married. They birthed two daughters; Imogen whom was born in 1998 and Clara, born in 2004, both belonging to the Slytherin house.

And Zachary has not been in contact with Lucian in years, so he is unsure of his familial state.
